Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce - The Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce is a member-oriented organization that serves over 1,000 businesses in the Merrimack Valley and the communities including: Andover, Lawrence, Methuen, North Andover, Greater Haverhill, Greater Lowell and Southern New Hampshire. As the region’s premier business resource network, the MVCC offers programs, services and events addressing the needs of local business owners and companies.
Executive Office of Transportation - The mission of EOT is to promote economic vitality and a better quality of life by safely and efficiently moving people and goods within and through the Commonwealth.
Massachusetts Highway Dept - MassHighway's Boston office makes the policy decisions that lead to the road improvement projects that are planned or are ongoing across the Commonwealth. Under the direction of Commissioner Luisa Paiewonsky, MassHighway identifies roads and bridges that are in need of repair, reconstruction, or replacement, and works to make the appropriate upgrades. MassHighway's priority is safety with as little inconvenience as possible to Massachusetts motorists.
Merrimack Valley Planning Commission - The Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC) is a regional planning agency providing professional planning services to fifteen communities in Northeastern Massachusetts. MVPC is one of thirteen regional planning agencies operating in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Communities of the MVPC region elect one Commissioner and one Alternate to attend monthly board meetings held at MVPC offices. The Commission meeting is a public forum where results of current projects, proposed new projects, and MVPC monthly expenses are discussed in detail. MVPC is a public, nonprofit organization committed to assisting the Valley's communities in Transportation, Environmental, Economic Development Planning and Geographic Information Systems.
Northern Middlesex Council of Governments - The Northern Middlesex Council of Governments (NMCOG) works with the communities of the Greater Lowell region to support and enhance a wide range of land use planning objectives. These include environmental protection, economic development, housing and residential development, transportation and transit planning, and the building and maintenance of community character. NMCOG provides technical assistance to member communities in designing, facilitating, and implementing community development programs and planning projects which further the interests of the region as a whole.
Merrimack Valley TMA - The Merrimack Valley TMA (formerly known as the River Road TMA) has established personalized transportation programs for member employees including: carpool/vanpool matching; promotional events; guaranteed ride home program; personalized commute planning; park and ride information; general transportation information; and links to public transportation (MVRTA, MBTA, and LRTA)
Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council - Merrimack Valley Economic Development Council promotes the economic interests of the entire Merrimack Valley; The Council encourages greater communication and cooperation between the public and private sectors, and fosters collaborative efforts between and among communities, leading to sustainable economic growth and prosperity for every community in the Valley.
The Junction TMO - The Junction Transportation Management Organization, Inc. (TMO) is a consensus-oriented, nonprofit organization of employers, public sector representatives and business associations working together to address transportation issues in the Ballardvale St./Lowell Junction area of Andover and Wilmington.
MassRIDES - MassRIDES is the Executive Office of Transportation's statewide travel options program providing assistance to commuters, employers, students, and other traveler markets.
Massachusetts TMA Council - MassCommute is a group of Massachusetts Transportation Management Associations (TMAs), which leverage public and private funds to increase the use of ridesharing and other commuting alternatives that reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality across the state. MassCommute seeks to increase public awareness of key transportation issues and promote a wide range of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) measures throughout Massachusetts.
